We have tried to make our Wheels site as easy to navigate as possible. You will find most pages within 2 clicks of our home page.
Almost all of the pages on our site carry a tabbed menu bar.
![]()
You may have seen this on other web sites such as Amazon.com. If so then you'll probably have no trouble finding your way around our site.
Each tab is a link to a different section of our site (much as the tabs in a filofax mark the beginning of each new section). To visit a section, just click the corresponding tab. The tab highlighted in maroon with gold lettering (like the LMS livery, for train enthusisasts!) shows you which section you are currently visiting. As you can see our site is comprised of 4 different sections:
Beneath the tabs is a sub-menu bar which changes depending on which section you are visiting. The sub-menu bar contains links to various topics associated with the section. For example, if you click the "Midland Red Models" tab,

the sub-menu bar shows a list of topics associated with "Midland Red Models". Click on a topic to visit the corresponding page. The topic highlighted in gold lettering shows you which topic you are currently visiting.
When you click on a tab, it will always return you to the introductory page for the corresponding section of our site, which will usually contain general information and latest news about that section. You can return to the introductory page simply by clicking the corresponding tab, even if it is already highlighed. Clicking the "Home" tab will take you to the introductory page for the entire site.
And it's as simple as that!
Tabs are an excellent way of providing a simple and intuitive means of moving around pages of information - that's why we chose to use them.
We also provide identical rows of textual hyperlinks at the bottom of each page - the top row carries the sections and the bottom row carries the topics. These can sometimes be useful if you are running your browser with images switched off.
