BOOKING YOUR DAY TRIPS
Now that the model shop in Coventry which took Midland Red bookings has closed as the lease has come to an end, please book by telephone with us direct until we have appointed a booking agent in Coventry. The telephone number is the same as that printed on our Brochure - 024 76 633624.
This number gets directly to us, but if we are engaged or with clients, you will be able to leave a message and we can return your call, but please leave your name, number and more importantly a message so that we can get back to you with some accurate information. You can Book Day Trips, Private Hire etc by telephone and pay by Card, or by Cheque just as normal.
We hope to finalise details with our agent by the end of the month. We look forward to hearing from you and to seeing you on this year's range of Day Trips. IT'S GO, GO, GO on our latest coach refurbishment !
Our British Traditional Leyland Leopard coach is now ready for some of our 2009 day trips. We have created a relaxing and comfortable interior layout with new seats, display curtains, footrests, gangway carpet, and very spacious leg-room for your added comfort. There are two areas for groups of between three and eight passegers who can sit and chat together. We hope you like the improvements.

WOW ! There are lots of new destinations in this new leaflet, and we have also included the old favourites which many of you tell us you enjoy.
You will notice that we have added variants to some of our regular destinations - like Dobbies. In January we stop off on the way at the unusual Astley Book Farm, then call in at Atherstone Town Centre, and then onto Dobbies - so lots of choices of places to eat on this tour! We have also included some additional Garden Centre Tours in this new leaflet which includes the Spring months when gardeners are thinking of new ideas. We've included Webbs at Wychbold - now the UK's biggest! There are also trips to Blooms, Trentham Gardens, Evesham Country Park, Thriplow (Cambridgeshire) for the Daffodil Festival, and Staunton Harold Nursery. Don't forget our annual pilgrimage to Hodstock Priory for the Snowdrops Spectacular (26th February) - this one is always full.
Also NEW is the inclusion of Bicester Shopping Village to our popular Banbury trip. The new National Memorial Arboretum at Alrewas is included too in February and June. Longer distance trips include the City of York (for the Minster, the National Railway Museum, and Castle Museum or Jorvik Centre, The Shambles and the Antique Shops or City Walls), Hay on Wye (the original Book Town), and historic Shrewsbury.
We've also got Uppingham and Rockingham Castle (Uppingham is a pretty market town famous for its school), Tewkesbury for the Abbey, Derby for the new Westfields Shopping Experience and markets, Historic Oxford, or join us to see the famous Enigma code breaker at Bletchley Park or reminisce with the nostalgia of Canals at Stoke Bruerne. There's a good selection for this season !
For Trips including food, or where good food is available as an option or part of our tours, this year's speciality is the ASPARAGUS TRAIL (19th May), in the Asparagus Triangle in North Worcestershire - a lunch is included with Asparagus featuring in both courses!
Others like our Mystery Tours. Well, you will have to trust us to give you a good value day out - even on our Special Double Decker Mystery Tour on 27th May, complete with Driver and Bus Conductor too. But those of you who came with us on any of last year's Mystery Tours will know that value is included !
Besides the new destinations, we have new additional pick up points in Hinckley Bus Station, and Brinklow village on some of our trips. If you are interested in any trip not included in the pick ups for Hinckley or Brinklow - just ask us as it may well be possible to include a slight diversion for you.

Our new MIDLAND RED TRAVEL CLUB is fully effective from the introduction of this new 2009 leaflet - It gives all members the opportunity travel at the lowest possible fare - sometimes the child fare - but on many occasions the "travel club" fare is even lower. It is of course designed for regular customers and to encourage you to come even more often on a Midland Red Day Trip.

Midland Red Travel Club Members get additional Concessions on our own Day Excursion programme, and a Newsletter giving the latest and advanced information on our range of travel services and facilities. We have local pick up points on most excursions and ALL trips include a "seniors" rate too. We can normally arrange a special pick up location for groups of ten or more Travel Club passengers from one point. All Excursions must be booked in advance and entry fees are not included unless specifically stated. Exact boarding information will be given upon a firm booking being made.
If you are a Group Organiser - take a little inspiration from our selection of Day trips for ideas to develop for your own group, or maybe you dont have quite enough to have your own coach - join us on our Day Trips. Even better still - Join our Travel Club - its a great way of making savings on your days out. We have lots of other ideas and you can take some of the stress out of organising for your group.

Tickets must be purchased in advance for all passengers. Child Fares (0-15 years), Adult Fares (16-59 years), Seniors (60+) Discounts are not available on certain trips and some are - all classes - one price! Any Children must be adequately supervised and accompanied by responsible adult passengers.

We will get back to you as soon as possible.
All major Credit Cards payments are accepted, by telephone to pay for Day Trips or Private Hire. By Post, Payment can be made by Cheque made payable to Wheels. on our vehicles is strictly forbidden. Please note that from September
2006 new legislation dictates that passengers traveling on vehicles fitted with
seatbelts must 'belt-up' whilst the coach is moving.
