1260003 - Period Telephone circa 1900 s/a
This is one of the earliest telephones we have had in recent times. It was once installed in a sugar plantation in South Africa. Made in Miranda wood it has a large empty battery compartment in the base and two brass bells on the top, with a writing surface. It was worked by cranking the magneto to generate electricity to call the operator. It is not possible to connect this telephone to BT or other systems and therefore it is sold as a non working period exhibit.

B140075 - Original Bakelite Telephone IVORY
This is one of the finest and cleanest examples of the IVORY finished bakelite 300 telephone we have seen for some time. It has a small blemish to the right hand lower corner which is outweighed by its otherwise pristine condition. This model has three non-working top chrome plated buttons for exchange and bell working, a number pull-out drawer, and a cream cable to the handset. It is re-wired to be suitable for a modern UK socket. A similar rare example is now available.
